In Silico Scotland will bring together chemists from a number of
different disciplines. The computational power provided by the In
Silico Scotland initiative will contribute to all areas of
EaStCHEM’s research groups. Both experimental and theoretical
branches of chemistry will benefit from the teraflop capability
of the In Silico Scotland facility. Of all the initiatives,
In Silico Scotland most clearly exemplifies the interdisciplinary
nature of the EaStCHEM venture.
