Materials
The New Materials initiative within EaStCHEM will create the strongest
centre of its type in the UK. Fundamental research into materials
science will be improved by forming links with material scientists,
physicists and chemical engineers to provide a strong basis for
future development.
New fabrication facilities will be put in place to complement the
New Materials initiative. Combined with state-of-the-art characterisation
equipment and techniques, this will provide benefits both to the
research groups and industry.
